Re: Beginner looks for help

Hi,

Here's the secret to fast loading, high quality web video.

Adding video to your web pages has just got easier. No longer will you
have to buy special (and expensive) tools to convert your video files
into a format that is web friendly. And no longer do you have to scrimp
on the video size and quality.

Using the technique I will show you below, you can convert any video
(AVI, MPEG, Quicktime, WMV) regardless of size into fast running, high
quality web video, which you can place on any web page.

Using this method, my last video clip started out as a 32 meg .avi
format video file. With just one click of a button, I converted the
clip into a high quality, fast running video with a file size of just
under 480k. That's right - I reduced the size of the video file by more
than 95% - yet still retain full quality.

The Process

1. Download and install the Free Riva Video encoder at
http://www.download.com/Riva-FLV-Encoder/3000-2140-10320097.html?part=dl-RivaFLVEn&subj=dl&tag=button

2. Use the Riva Encoder to encode your video to .flv format

3. Make sure everyone you send the video to has Macromedia Flash
Player. Download it free at http://www.soft32.com/download_500.html
(1.3MB).

Using the above technique means you won't have to spend hundreds on a
flash encoder and you won't end up with huge .swf video files, and you
can have longer video files and you can even run full frame, full
screen videos if you like.

Hope that has been of some help to you,

Pete
