Copywrite isn't not a valid word, in my opinion. Just to puff up my ego, I'll let you know that I have a BS degree in advertising (when has there ever been a more appropriate degree designation?) and I've done so much "copywriting" you wouldn't believe. But I suppose it may be leeching into our lexicon as a valid word. Either way, this luser is still spamming.

BTW, according to law, no spelling lame can be completed without some grammatical or spelling errors. That's why I put in the extra "not" in the above sentence.

Not to mention dropping the 'f' from flame :-)

I just went to the Merriam-Webster on-line dictionary. They don't have copywrite or copywriting! Geez, am I forced to admit that you're right - or write? :-)

But don't feel too good just yet: they do have copywriter and copyreading.

Look at the link: http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/copywriting - there are a couple of amusing things on their list of suggestions besides this controversy. I like 8, 9, and 10.

If I had known in school there were degrees available in copulating, I sure as hell wouldn't have gone for the advertising degree.

As for the "f", it was intentionally left off. The word is lame, as in that's stupid way to flame somebody else.
