So says you.

There are two sides to every story.. If you were even half as
unreasonable as you are in this newsgroup, believe me, everyone here
wants to hang up on your too.

Switched from a All Premiere Studio to a all FCP studio 2 years ago, and
no one here regrets it in the least.. The bottom line. The Mac is a
better solution than the PC one. Sorry.. Just a fact. And many many
more people agree with this, with hundreds moving to Mac each day now.

Which works out to what, 0.04% of the market per year? Why at that rate
Apple will achieve market dominance by the middle of 3004.

LOL God I love these debates.

While everyone knows I prefer Mac, let's be reasonable.

Apple does have in excess of a majority market share of video editing
as well as substantial market share in audio and graphics. There is
also more than half in PC, since many facilities use both. Whether or
not you prefer one platform or another is largely subjective but Apple
is a major player and yes, growing. Even when the solution is not
Final Cut, the platform is largely Mac.

In the consumer market, their market share is also rising from 4-5%,
not .04%. That will take longer to get to PC parity (if it ever does)
but the switch to Intel is likely to contribute to continued growth.

I cannot say that Apple is a better choice for everyone but they
typically do have lower rates of repairs and higher customer
satisfaction than their PC counterparts year after year. PCs are a
viable and sometimes preferable solution for those who simply like
Windows or are accustomed to it and don't want to change, those who
prefer PC-only software and others who want to build their own systems
from the ground up or for various and sundry other reasons.

Of course you can now buy a Mac and truly have the best of both worlds.
Unfortunately that also includes all the viruses that come along with
Windows.
