if i burn an audio mp3 files and a video file on a DVD . will the
dvd
player be able to detect and play both the audio and video files on
its own . or burining different formats on one dvd wont allow dvd
player to auto detect and play or give an option to play any one .
can this be done through a software if the direct answer is no.
I mean if we use Nero burner shall we have to choose burn data disc
to
burn both audio as well as video files. If yes then will the player
be
able to play the disc burned or is there a separate option to burn a
disc containing both audio and video files on the same disc so as to
enable it to be played on the dvd/vcd player

If your player is one of the Divx compliant stand-alones, you can do
this EXCEPT that, if you burn a DVD disc as a DVD complaint video, the
device will not recognize any other out-of-spec info, if you can
figure out how to get it onto the disc.
If your video is VOB or MPEG1/2/4, or if you place the VIDEO_TS folder
data into a folder of a different name, then the player will present
you with a menu of all the content on the DVD which it handles.
Several of these players will play JPEGs and MP3 audio simultaneously,
as a simulated slide show, but none will play video and MP3 which are
not muxed.
