A simple question about video capture

Hi,
I am very new in this area. I have a basic question, I have got a
computer with Fireware port and have got a Sony Hi8 Camcorder. I need
to transfer my analog signals to my camcoder so that I can record those
in VCD/DVD. In order to do this what I requre to have please suggest.
FYI I can spent $100 for this purpose.
