Transition from Ulead VideoStudio to MediaStudio???

Hi - Have any of you made the transition from Ulead VideoStudio to
MediaStudio 8? What kind of learning curve wold I have?
I'm pretty familiar with VideoStudio but I really need AC-3 audio
capabilities.
