Do you just use a square 600x600 template or do you actually have a CD
type doughnut hole template so you can arrange your graphics around?
It seems like it would be hard to design something just using a typical
empty box since you have to get the words in the right location, make
sure someone's face isn't being cut out by the center hole, etc?
Designing those DVD and CD labels is hard, you almost have to take
pictures with that purpose in mind. Most pictures I take tend to be
centered over the object of interest, of course, you use this picture
for a DVD and you have to really move it to the side so the object
isn't going over the center hole. I am just finding that designing
those layouts is a little tricky and am interested to hear what you do.
Perhaps I should sit down and design a template in Adobe photoshop
elements or Dreamweaver's Firewords to use since those programs do have
a heck of a lot more functions and the functions are much easier to
use.
