Creating DVDs with DVDAuthor

Hi all,

I have a couple of questions about creating DVDs with DVDAuthor. I
have been using a couple of Windows-based front-ends (Mainly "GUI for
DVDAuthor") and then editing the XML files directly to tweak things.

1) What is the trick to getting a video to play from the Title menu?
The only way I can get things to work is if I have a button on the
title menu pointing to a 'TitleSet 1', which has a button to play the
video. This means there are 2 buttonpresses to get the DVD to play.
Can anyone provide some sample XML showing how I can get this to work
with only one buttonpress?

2) I am bringing subtitles in using spumux, which are sourced from a
..sub file. Some of the subtitles -should- stay on the screen for 1
minute (and the start/end frames defined in the .sub file show this)
but they disappear after a couple of seconds. Is it possible to do what
I want? Have I missed some sort of obvious configuration setting?
