PLEASE. How to Multi Trim in PowerDirector. PLEASE.

Hi
All I want is to remove the commercials from some video clips I have. Most
of them are AVI format.
I go into PowerDirector, Multi trim and I set the parameters for the
beginning and ends of each clip. Then I go to "Produce Movie".
I do not want to select from all the available parameters. I want the
result movie to be the exact same format/compression like the original
movie. How do I do this?
I try different combinations, and always I end up with a file much larger
than the original.
If you know, can you PLEASE give me the instructions in PowerDirector,
whithout suggesting another software?
