As a former resident of the SFBay Areaa I'm quite familiar with
microclimates. When we lived in Pacifica we lived well up the
valley behind Linda Mar where it was usually sunny, but we could
see the fog down the street and sure enough it could be damp and
miserable down by Hwy 1, about 1.5 miles away.
