...worse than that John, the USA shafted its own citizens as well...

Vietnam veterans and their families who brought the original Agent
Orange lawsuit stated 25 years ago that the government "is just
waiting for us all to die". They alleged that most of those still
alive would succumb to the effects of toxic exposure before the age of
65.

First of all, what I wonder is why you, Michael Newport, are posting under a
Dutch sounding name?
Second, my husband is a retired 30 year military man.
Third, during his service in 1967 & 1968 in Viet Nam, he was exposed to
Agent Orange and has received excellent care from the US Government. Since
he was diagnosed while on active duty, he was taken care of at Brooke Army
Medical Center and continues to have follow ups there every six months and
sometimes more often when warranted. He is completely cured and lives a
full life today. The follow ups are to make sure that he remains cancer
free...There are slackers who like to exploit their problems by saying they
cannot work (they would try to get away with that even if they weren't
affected by Agent Orange or any other disability. ) There are those who are
greedy and exploit and exaggerate their problems for money...by writing and
constantly complaining...And yes, there are those who have sadly fallen
between the cracks somehow and have not gotten the care they should have,
but it is not because it is not there for them; they just have to go out
there and find out whom to contact. Any VA or Retired Military Services
Office would gladly point them the right way...We are fortunate as we live
near BAMC and stay informed as to what benefits are due to those who need
them. I am a registered nurse and would be the first on the bandwagon to
protest poor medical care. So don't paint the whole US Government as not
caring or believe the "waiting for us to die" drivel. My husband is 78 and
going strong. We travel and enjoy life to the fullest because of the
excellent health care he has received.

thats great.....and the rest is all lies.....care to comment for the
Vietnamese.

Here's a comment. You're a cowardly lying scumbag that posts lie
after lie and is exposed for just that. Then tries to change the
subject because he has been shown to be just that. A dirtbag
libelling liar. Like that one?

more lies John....enjoy....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulf_War_syndrome

Even after the war, troops that had never been deployed overseas,
after receiving the anthrax vaccine, developed symptoms similar to
those of Gulf War Syndrome. The Pentagon failed to report to Congress
20,000 cases where soldiers were hospitalized after receiving the
vaccine between 1998 and 2000.[18] Despite repeated assurances that
the vaccine was safe and necessary, a U.S. Federal Judge ruled that
there was good cause to believe it was harmful, and he ordered the
Pentagon to stop administering it in October 2004. The ban was lifted
in February 2008 after the FDA re-examined and approved the drug
again. Anthrax vaccine is the only substance suspected in Gulf War
syndrome to which forced exposure has since been banned to protect
troops from it.[19]

Just like I said. A lying lowlife scumbag that always tries to change
the subject when the *** for brains has no clue what he is lying
about. The subject, *** for brains, was Agent Orange and the lies
you spouted about it. Now you want to compare the great European
slaughter record in the 20th Century with the American *** for
brains. Or can't you count in the tens of millions?
