Re: A train from Vienna to Sophia?

Unfortunately that website doesn't include Sophia in its database. I
entered a search for Vienna and Sophia and it defaulted to Sophian-Kolb-
Str., Bayreuth. When I typed in "Sophia, Bulgaria" it didn't find a match,
but suggested many other Sophia variations--all of which were in Austria
and Germany (Sophienhof, Sophienstrasse in Karlsruhe, etc., etc., etc.)

If you go to the bahn.hafas.de web site it it can give you all
the stops each train makes. Don't be misled by the listing for
the direct night train; the train travels under three different
train numbers.

If you want to noodle about, note that one of the listed journeys
requires four train changes, at Budapest, Timisoara, Craiova, and
Vidin. Vidin is arrived at by ferry from Calafat.
