Zurich touristic promoter
are confusing tourists
by placing red M signs
on maps
which mean "Mobility" rather
then Metro
I have no time fo investigate
what this "Mobility" buzz means..................

Zurich has no subway, for local public transportation a very
efficient tram-network and bus-service.
Thurgauerstrasse is near the airport but off that tram-network,
to get to your hotel best probably is to use Hotel bus shuttle
or regular bus service if you want to use public transportation.
You might of course use train to Zurich main railway station
and tram/walk or tram/bus/walk for fun. Or shorter train to
Oerlikon only, and from there bus or tram. Shortest by using
bus 781 for stop Glattbrugg-Katzenbach (some 100 m from
your Hotel)
But if you want to really have fun, best is to get a pass
(at airport railway station), drop your luggage at the hotel,
get the bus to Oerlikon, and from there the tram for some
city tour (tram 11 to Rehalp e.g. and Bahnhof Tiefenbrunnen
with tram 2 or 4)
