Hey everyone,
I'm looking to take a gap year in France the year before I go to college and live with a host family while still taking classes. I've yet to find a service that offers any of this, do any of you have any suggestions?

One of my sons graduated from High School and then went on a YFU (Youth for Understanding) study abroad year in Switzerland. That way, he was already accepted into college and didn't have to worry about getting good grades. It was total immersion into the German language--he got there in late June and by Christmas was fluent in German. He stayed with a host family, etc., but without the pressure of it being his senior year in high school.
