The German newsserver removes quite a lot of the cr*p, and I use Thunderbird to filter the rest.
I have just started using Thunderbird (because Netscape, which was being operated by AOL for about a year, announced it was being discontinued). Although Thunderbird is very similar to Netscape (and all my files automatically transferred) I'm not clear how to set more sophisticated filters than I could with Netscape. CAN I filter out all the spam? (If so, how?)
