So you've never lived anywhere where it gets really cold then...
The coldest I've endured is -15° C.
That's not cold...
I've known it colder than that in Northern England.
And I've known -40(f and C) in both upstate New York nd when
living in Montreal.
Why on earth would you live in a place like that???
University.
During the winter in Montreal my wife asked if I could't go to
graduate school in a warmer climate, and here I am in Tucson.
Tucson's meant to have a lovely climate from what I've heard- not at all
like Phoenix. That true?
Tucson's climate is similar to Phoenix, with differences:
Tucson is about 400m higher than Pheonix and therefore several
degrees cooler.
Tucson gets a bit more rain each year.
Phoenix has a bad smog problem which tends to trap heat. It also
prevents night time black body radiation, soemthing that makes
the nights cooler in Tucson.
Phoenix is a huge slurb like Los Angeles.
