I *believe*? you are checking the regular trains on trenitalia.com? for
a Naples to Pompei journey which is 25± mins.
From Naples to Pompei (and to Sorrento, the last station) there's a local line (light rail: 'Circumvesuviana'), not Trenitalia one.
Pompei (1 i) is the modern town and not the ruins which I believe is
around a 20min walk from the train station thru town.
The 'Circumvesuviana' station in Pompei is just in front of the ruins, you have only to cross the road.
The name of the station is 'Pompei scavi'.
I live far from Neaples (northern Italy), but I remember well when I was there.
Maybe Pompei has also a Trenitalia rail station, I don't know, but the Circumvesuviana is far better for touristic purposes.
Ciao, Piero.
