Hi

at http://orario.trenitalia.com/b2c/TimeTable

I have tried to do an online booking for Genoa to Nice on 2 July. I
can find 4 trains but the button to click for purchasing simply states
'No'.

Did you start by clicking on the international tab? On the initial
page, the default tab is "national", but there is also a tab for
"international" and you have to select this in order to purchase
international tickets. I've just tried purchasing a ticket from
Genova to Nice, and got as far as giving my credit card number, at
which point I terminated the purchase.

If that's not your problem, perhaps the server was down when you
tried. It is often down during the night (Italian time), so try at a
time before midnight Italian time.

Note that in English it's Genova and Nice, while in Italian it's Genoa
and Nizza. You used above the Italian Genoa and the French (and
English) Nice. Apparently that wasn't your problem, though, since you
did find four trains. Maybe on international purchases, it accepts
both.

trenitalia do not accept queries by email and only have local premium
number for enquiries.

Any ideas?

I want to be sure that I can travel that day hence I want to pre-book.
Is anyone familiar with these trains. Will I be able to get a ticket
on the day?

Thanks ColinK
