I should have known. My heart goes out to the child and her
parents at this time. I do hope she is found safe and well
soon.

Not only are they going through this terrible ordeal - they
get flooded with the media circus and religious weirdos like
this twit and similar nutters flocking to the cause.


I have spent the weekend in the presence of folks that both voted for
the Iraq war, and are determined to get me and the wife to church.

I am too jaded to use logic. Now I just fill their glasses when
they're not looking.

My deepest sympathy - I have a few friends like that, too!
(I don't suppose spiking their drinks with a strong emetic
would encourage less frequent visits?)

Don't make it too strong unless you're at their place. Saves
on laundry...

I tend to start asking their opinion of books I've re-read
lately; like "Inherit the Wind" or Plaidy's "Spanish
Inquisition". For some reason they seem to give excuses next
time I wonder why I haven't seen them lately.
