I was already thinking of moving to ferries, if this has to
become permenant, it might clinch it, unless they come up with
better hold secirity.
If this stupidity becomes permanent, that's another good reason not to
move back to the UK. Just in the last few weeks I've had my luggage
mislaid twice. In the event, it just meant that the airline had to
deliver my bags of dirty laundry to my house by taxi, saving me the
trouble of carrying it on the train, but if they also lost my keys and
computer, that would be somewhat annoying.
There is no chance that the UK will introduce this
unilaterally. E* bookings to CDG would quadruple.
If carry-on is restreicted it will be introducted
Eurowide.
