Impeccable logic. Airlines that go bankrupt always re-imburse their
affected passengers.

But that's simply not true. We have so many examples of airlines in
bankrupt simply leaving their passengers where they are.

Possibly but that's not so easy to know.
After all there're possibilities when airlines manages rescue the
passengers under a bankruptcy. Here in Sweden there's always by law a
bank guarantee if you've booked an inclusive trip including some
arrangements as hotel so in that case you've a guarantee for the trip.
