The question here a few weeks ago was if Europe was overrepresented and
other continents discriminated in the number of teams qualified for W.C
Now we have the results from the ground play round one and round 2 the
1/8 and 8 teams are qualified for the quarter.
Let's see :For the first round qualified were from
Europe 14
Africa 5
Asia 4
South-America 4
America north Panama 4
Pacific 1
------------------
16 teams qualified for the second round
Europe 10
Africa 1
South America 3
Mexico 1
Pacific(Australia) 1
---------------------
8 qualified for the quarter
Europe 6
South America 2
Remark that no group included more than two European teams so in the worse
scenario they'd been all eliminated in the first round.
