meeting visitors at Heathrow Terminal 4?

Hi,



I am going to pick some friends who are arriving in the early afternoon at
Heathrow Terminal 4 next month.



I have heard some people say that picking arrivals up is a 'nightmare' by
car. Is this true?



I've looked at information on the web and it seems as though if I can manage
to navigate to Terminal 4 off the motorway and find the 'short stay' carpark
outside the terminal, I should be ok.



My main worry is that there might be something I haven't thought of as this
seems a bit easy. Is it likely that the short stay carpark outside T4 is
full? What would I do then?



Any advice on pitfalls, tips etc gratefully received.
