I am sorry but the river Danube is not going through Vienna..
It does, actually. The bit of "river" you see from the centre is the Danube
- it's a straightened, artificial section of the river. The original river
course, know as the "Old Danube" (Alte Donau) remains only as a few lakes
and backwaters with islands and nudist beaches.
So it will be impossible for you to have a hotel window on the Danube
