Pat: you'd be far better off investing in a GPS that you can mount on your
bike. Provided you get one with decent battery life and stay somewhere
where you can get access to mains power each night, you'll be fine.
Routeplanning software is sometimes prone to error, and it won't help you
if you get lost.

I do have a Garmin Etrex Vista, but I don't know if they have software for
Spain. I wanted to use the Microsoft software to plan the trip, especially
the parts about the Vias Verdes and connections between them.
