`
Curiously, we have lived in the neighbor close to the Lutetia.
I have been inside once, over 20 years ago when my niece stayed
there. At that time I did not think her room particularly nice
and a bit small. The "a bit small" is not unusual with
Parisian hotel rooms but for a highly rated hotel it does
not appear correct. The Ritz is a bit higher on the scale
of hotels than the Lutetia. The latter`s restaurant and
brasserie are easily accessible to clients coming from
the exterior. The client I mentioned above was in
one of the Ritz' suites, which are considerable more
expensive than a mere room. It was her husband who had
the money, ran a specialty shop chain in American malls.
And definitely "new rich".
