Thank you all for your help and advice.

I was unaware of the Sea Wind company - given that all we need is a place to
sleep on an overnight ferry this looks like a very good (cheaper)
alternative to Silja or Viking.

We will also consider breaking our jouney and stop in Åland - again
something that we had previously not considered.

Any other tips much appreciated!
