The hotel that I stayed in offered an exceptionally good breakfast,
hot eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, mushroom, omelettes made to
order, a dozen different types each of fish, meat and cheese, half a
dozen breads, pastrys etc.... Oh and probably a nice selection of
those healthy muesli and yogurt options that I never select :-(
As an extra (my company negotiated a breakfast included price)
it was something like 20 Euro.
All in all, it was worth the price.
*But* 20 Euro in Poland will buy you in a local resturant, a
full three course evening meal with a couple of drinks and
probably leave you with enough change for lunch.
It seems a shame to pay 20 Euro for brekkie and only have
a coffee, so one makes sure to take a good helping.
And then this leave you full for the day and in no mood
for the three course dinner.
When I go abroad I like to try the different foods and no
matter how good, there was nothing on the breakfast
table that you can't get the world over. So I prefer to
skip breakfast and spend the money on dinner.
