Problem with your Discover Card where? I'd be surprised if it's accepted at many places outside of the US (in fact, every time they run a promotion like 5% Cashback on all dining for a quarter, I am amazed at how many places *in* the US don't take it.

My Discover card has been accepted at every restaurant in my area. Their 5% cash back has a limit of $800, at least mine does. I just used it last month for a hotel in Orlando, so I will get $40 cash back. They did recently change their policy. They used to offer .25% cash back for purchases up to $1500, then 0.5% from $1500 to $3000, and then 1% on everything after that. Now it's 0.25% on everything up to the first $3000 and 1% after that. Their 5% on selected purchases every quarter is given regardless of what you have already purchased.
