The impression we came away with was RCI was only making a monetary
decision, not a customer satisfaction decision. If the clientele are there
for Carnival for the 3- and 4-day West Coast market, then why is it not
feasible for Royal Caribbean International? And that is our question of this
newsgroup... what is your take and opinion on all this? Do you think RCI is
right to currently be out of the 3- and 4-day West Coast cruise market?
Since the market is obviously there for more than one cruise line for a
7-day cruise, would it not be there for the 3 and 4-day cruise?
JOhn you did not put out wht Adam said... He said yes the WEEKEND get
awat but what do you do for the other 4 nights Sit the ship? they
were NOT getting the people for the 4 night portion so why lose
money . You realllly think a company would pull a WINNER and money
maker away?
If it was such a great product all the cruise lines would be there. 3
and 4 nighters also knock a ship down. West coast is just not the
market. where you going on these ships? Not to many places to take a
ship lilke on the east coast with bahamas and the islands close
enough....
Did Carnival say the clientele was there? is that ship sailing full?
is there need for more then 1 ship?
YES they are right for not having the ship but you now have mariner
lets see how well you all support it. As a agent you need to fill
those ships, DO you send at least 4 clients on each sailing?? with the
Economy esp affecting Calif do the people support it? or maybe since
you have Octo Mom your state is so rich they can support a ship too.
