Isn't that only for Hep B? I've had those at work too. But I don't
see any reason for people who are not occupationally exposed to get
them. That is, my retired husband really doesn't need those as he's
unlikely to be exposed.

I'm coming into this thread late so not sure what the discussion is about entirely-
There is a vaccine series for both Hep A and Hep B.
Hepatitis A is a disease from oral/fecal exposure, whereas Hep B is blood/body fluid exposure.
