I enjoyed your trip report! thanks!Actually, I cruised in May, last week. But, the old "june gloom" really does show up in May. "May gloom" just doesn't sound right :-)
Did you cruise in Jan or June?
Thanks Karen
<< I’ve heard people say “you don’t spend much time in your cabin,
anyway”, but that depends on the person. I would totally enjoy the
privacy of sitting out on my balcony, watching the world go by. I
knew
that this cruise would probably be fogged in (I used to live in SoCA,
so
I know about “June gloom”), so I wasn’t disappointed about that. I
learned a long time ago that you just deal with what weather you are
given on a vacation. >>
I live in Utah now, so the chilly weather didn't bother me at all. I mean, I had 3 inches of new snow on my porch 2 days before I left for the trip! It's kind of like when I go to Arizona in the winter - I'm out there in a long sleeve Tshirt and jeans, sitting on my porch and the guys going by on the golf course have on jackets, and wool hats.
