Also from Cruise Critic a Eric owner of Goldring Travel has been saying on
the Seabourn forum that booking on Regent have not been strong and you can
get a booking on any cruise.

I just wasted my time reading that thread. It is the usual, a few
smokers griping, some happy non-smokers, and some like me who think the
new policy is the wave of the future on all cruise lines. I can't see
anything there or on Cruises Critic that proves your contention that
they are close to bankruptcy. Or that booking has not been strong. Ray
contends that they are very profitable and it is hard to get preferred
cabins. There is nothing on this newsgroup, Cruise Critic or that TA's
board that has any facts on Regents financial condition or bookings nor
do I see any way to infer their financial condition from the different
forums, positive or negative from what has been posted.

Another note, In 2005 there was 5 Regent ships. Then they lost the Diamond.
Now the Paul G will no longer be in the line. So Regent is down to 3 ships
with none on order.
