Hertz would probably be your best bet. If you do a drop-off at the
Marriott
Inner Harbor it is about 3 miles to the port
Avis did not appear to have a convenient drop off location in the city.

I would call this location and see if they will pick up the
car
or drive you to the port which is located at:

South Locust Point Cruise Terminal
2001 East McComas Street
Baltimore, MD 21230
410-962-8701

Either way is a relatively short cab ride to the terminal. I would
probably use the Marriott location if I had to cab to the terminal since
the
hotel will have better cab response.

Hope this information helps.

Thanks - that's exactly what I found, and since the ship leaves on a
Sunday, I can't use the city drop-off. I guess I will have to use the
airport drop-off and get a cab from there.

It is a shame that you can't get into B'more a day early and stay in a hotel
in order to use the Saturday hours. You would also be more rested after
driving from wherever you are coming from.... In addition to cabs there are
shuttle buses (Super Shuttle) that will take you from the airport to the
terminal http://www.supershuttle.com/default.aspx?content=Baltimore. Don't
know if this will be cheaper than a cab or not since I haven't used a cab in
B'more in many years. Might want to call them to find out prices for all
that is traveling.
