EXACTLY, and when they "needed it" it was too late. OR should I say

And whose fault is that? If you go to a store and ask how long
it will take to get an item, and they tell you, and you place
your order with plenty of time to spare and the item still
hasn't come in by the time you need it, whose fault is it? Yours
for not knowing to place your order even earlier, or the
manufacturer/retailer for not being able to deliver their
product in time?
