The number one concern I have is the use of a key

Ordinary people can't install programs so a key logger would be
unlikely unless from the inside. However I would not do internet
banking over a cruise ships network either on their machines or on ones
own laptop. Or at any other internet cafe or wi-fi hotspot, unless
doing it over a VPN . The public network could be sniffed or hacked. If
you don't have a VPN and you must do something like internet banking
you can subscribe to Hotspot VPN. They have subscriptions for a shot as
a week or month.
