The way I see it, there are two possibilities. One is you want
to go on a cruise, and Alaska seems like a reasonable place to
cruise. And if that is true, the the cruise is the significant
point, not Alaska, and hence I'm not much help.

If what you want to do is see Alaska though, I would *never*
recommend a cruise as the way to do it.
