As for people being able to find these releases, my God,
now there are more than a dozen large cruise-related websites and most of
them post these press releases.

So you go to those websites. I don't want to go to them. I want to read
the cruise news here on r.t.c. Rec.travel.cruises is a Usenet
newsgroup. Notice the "news" part? I don't care if it is Ray, or
someone else, but Ray has been doing it for years and doing it fairly
well. And I don't care what his motivation is because I can't read his
mind, I don't care that he is a travel agent, and I don't care if he
gets any business out of his sig. lines or doesn't get any business. I
have seen his sig. line thousands of times and I have never booked with
Ray. I just know he is the one posting the latest cruise news. If you
don't want to read it here, then just killfile the news releases or
just go away to your website. You just want to whine about Ray because
you have had a vendetta against him for years. All you have mainly
posted for the last few years is gripes about Ray or to get people to
use whatever private website you are currently pushing.
