DISCOVERY WORLD CRUISES UNVEILS WINTER
2007 SOUTH AMERICA AND SOUTH PACIFIC PROGRAM

FORT LAUDERDALE ? Parading penguins and towering icebergs, hundreds of
mysterious Moai statues standing as tall as than 70 feet, and giant
tortoises and blue-footed boobies are among some of the exciting
sights awaiting guests of mv Discovery when the ship returns to South
America and the South Pacific for the fourth consecutive year in 2007.
A specialist in exploring exotic and faraway places in comfort and
style, Discovery World Cruises ? operators of mv Discovery ? will
offer 17 spectacular cruisetours, ranging from 13 to 40 days to the
Galapagos Islands, Antarctica, South America and the South Pacific for
2007. Rates begin at $2,850 per person, double occupancy, and guests
can take advantage of up to 50 percent savings when they book now.
Discovery offers unforgettable cruise vacations for seasoned travelers
who yearn to visit some of the world?s most unusual destinations. The
line?s hallmark ?cruisetour? program combines pre- and/or post-cruise
hotel stays with the voyage to enhance the destination experience. In
addition, top area experts, scientists and naturalists enrich the
voyage by providing background and insights into the history, culture,
flora and fauna of the destination.
Discovery World Cruises begins 2007 with a return to the Galapagos
archipelago where time has stood still and wildlife has flourished
unimpeded for millennia. To preserve the islands? delicate ecosystem,
Discovery will be limited to 500 passengers per sailing. The ship
will anchor off San Cristobal, the provincial capital of the
Galapagos, and from there operate small group-expeditions during the
day to experience the Galapagos first-hand. Rates begin at $2,850 per
person, double occupancy.
Discovery then continues along South America?s exotic west coast ?
with an optional tour to incomparable Machu Picchu ? to the
breathtaking Chilean Fjords, Southern Ocean and Antarctica for five
breathtaking voyages. The line?s 20,000-ton Discovery is unique among
vessels cruising Antarctica in that guests enjoy the peace of mind and
a smoother cruising passage resulting from a deep, ice-hardened hull,
along with the onboard comforts and amenities offered on a mid-sized
liner. Sights and potential landings via Zodiac landing boats in
Antarctica include Half Moon Island, Lemaire Channel, Paradise Harbor,
Hope Bay, King George Island and Deception Island. Rates begin at
$4,250 per person, double occupancy.
Discovery completes the winter season with two voyages to South
Pacific island paradises. Guests cruise from Valparaiso to Papeete,
Tahiti, calling at such remote islands as Robinson Crusoe Island,
Easter Island, Pitcairn Island, Rangiroa, Raiatea, and Bora Bora.
Rates begin at $3,650 per person, double occupancy.
Finally, guests can experience classic cruising aboard Discovery with
a 17-day transatlantic voyage from Nassau, Bahamas, to Harwich, with
an included two-night, post-cruise hotel stay in London. Ports en
route include Hamilton, Bermuda; and Horta and Punta Delgada in the
Azores. Special two-for-one rates plus free air begins at $4,750,
double occupancy.

Cruising Aboard mv Discovery

With ever-larger leviathans plying the world?s seas, guests will find
a more intimate and convivial experience cruising aboard the
650-passenger Discovery. The mid-sized liner offers all the comforts
and amenities sophisticated travelers have come to expect, yet her
size enables her to visit out-of-the-way ports, usually restricted
from larger vessels. Discovery is resplendent with 351 staterooms and
suites; three restaurants; five lounges; a movie theater; well-stocked
library; casino; Internet center; full spa; exercise gym; two swimming
pools, including one beneath a retractable roof; and two Jacuzzis.
