I prefer Teva or other watersports-style sandals. With closed shoes
like sneakers, RocSox, AquaSox, all the silty sand collects in your
shoes, which I find pretty uncomfortable. The sticky rubber soles of
Tevas give you good traction, they're very supportive, AND all that
sand doesn't collect, so your feet are comfy. I've climbed the falls a
few times, trying different footwear. Tevas win, hands down.

My wife is interested in seeing this when we cruise to Ocho Rios on RCL
next month. We're not bothered by the climbing part, but wondered if it
would be a problem for someone with a mild fear of heights.
