Also the code of the air... I remember an Alaska Airlines flight from L.A. to Cabo where we sat for 5 hours on the runway, with announcements every 15 minutes that we'd be leaving shortly.


What really grates in both cases is being treated like a child, "you don't need to know what's going on, we're taking care of it." Or not.

Nice to see you posting again MP, seems like you took a hiatus for a while.
