Me, too, Kurt..There has to be a fix to Social Security if they really put
their minds to it..Right now, if I understand correctly, only $90,000. of an
income is taxed by Social Security..anything over that amount is not..WHY?
The more that goes into the fund, if invested properly, should garner higher
gains..IF they don't dip into the Social Security Fund to pay other debts!
There should be a law that prohibits the government from touching that fund
for anything but Social Security benefits..Our children and grandchildren
should not have to worry about a benefit that they have paid into,
disappearing off the end of this earth.
Neither party seems to be concerned, they are too busy giving themselves
retirement raises on top of the big retirement they will already receive.
They do not seem to be in touch with real life, because they don't live it
and only pretend to while running for election...
