Beaches resort at Turks - -any recent reviews?

Hi, my wife, my 11 year old son and I are staying at the Beaches resort
in Turks/Caicos in a couple of weeks (early Oct, 2005). Does anyone
have any recent info or reviews? All of the posts I've seen are about 4
or 5 years old and some are fairly negative. Have they ironed out the
bugs? Any info would be very much appreciated.
