On the other hand if you make a small effort to speak a word or two of the
local language and dress in a suitable/acceptable manner (and hire someone
to carry your baggage)
In my opinion if you are unable to carry your own luggage you shouldn't
travel (unless perhaps you are too old or disabled, but then the
question is why you would want to travel to a tough place such as
India).
