There used to be turbulences years ago. Has the situation stabilised andI guess it is difficult to predict those politically motivated eruptions. Sometimes they go and attack people in JL Jaksa.Sometimes they detonate a bomb targeting a hotel and it's guests. Sometimes criminal gangs go tormenting Chinese people and burn the Glodok neigbourhood flat. But otherwise the traffic is the biggest concern. And those bloody placards they place at the level westerners hit their foreheads on at night because streets are poorly lit. For the same reason you hurt your toes every now and then when you stumble on those displaced paving stones.
it is safe to walk around, even at night?
