Tell him that joggers in parks leave their sportsbags outside and they
job around the park, safe in the knowledge that when they return their
clothes will be there. That, I have to say, impressed me.
The only thing the Japanese might consider stealing is an umbrella
during an outpour if you leave it in a stand. But then, you can pick
someone else's so it's OK.
Is there a safer country in the world than Japan, I wonder? (Where
there's people of course - Antarctica doesn't count)?
