One would think that with on a long haul interconinental
flights (say more then 6 hours) that the plane would ALWAYS
depart with a full tank of fuel.

A modern jet airplane carries enough fuel to fly the range of its
intended flight, plus some for safety margin. This doesn't always
mean that the plane departs with a full tank. You're an idiot.
Well, some airlines are being taken to task for taking off
without sufficient fuel reserves, and THAT is quite
un-nerving.

I DO own and operator my own online radio network
and I AM here through Sunday. It is a little un-nerving
to think that I may board a JFK to PPT flight that would
take off with anything less than a full fuel load.
