If I were an airline, I would be more concerned about people finding
loophoples around rules my airline has. If I say you cannot check in
more than X hours before flight, and some service provides means to do
so without any limitations on when it is done, I would take issue with it.

This isn't the issue. The boarding pass sites claim is that they will check you in at the 24 hour window which is within the check in time that anyone can check in.


Ethically, it goes around a WN rule. Technically, it is probably legal
because WN has no way of knowing that the customer is using this proxy
service "live" or with a time delay factor.

WN has the ability to legally block this, and in doing so, they have the ability to block access from this company's ip address or stop the company from advertising this service.
