well, if you look at things from this angle, then be assured: if your team performs well, what's written on the t-shirts will not matter a bit. If they do not perform well, and the administration wants to kick you out, they don't have to look at t-shirts to find a reason.


The bottom line is that this is a team that makes lots of noises about
being better but doesn't make many positive moves towards that goal.
This *is* about the kids. I don't think that we would ever say that we
should *study* like rock stars, since that makes no sense at all.
Volleyball is no different in this regard.

You asked them what they mean, and 24/7 was their answer. Translate this into your court: being active, attentive throughout the whole drill/match. What does it take to do that? Try to show them. I still think you're way better trying to work with their slogan than against them.
