competitive, focused: that's what Sensei was looking for. ;-)
I'm pretty sure his players have a peculiar idea of what it takes to be a rock star. But being "active 24/7" at least means they want to be competitive. Wanting to play with all strength, at least for the whole match, doesn't sound like such a bad attitude.
Let's face it: thinking about potential slogans school kids can come up with, I think you got away _very_ well! And Bill makes a good point: without knowing the whole story, it does seem like a Dilbert story, where senior management orders junior management to come up with a strategy, and on handing the results in, yelling back that "no, you did not guess our thoughts right!"
